Our Club was initially formed in the early 1900’s but then ceased between the first and second
World Wars. It was re-established in 1967 and has grown to its present size of over 400 members.
The Club is suitable for all levels of ability from non swimmers to National Championship swimmers. We also have
a Masters section for those who still want to keep fit and focus more on the social side of swimming.
We are a competitive club and compete in many galas throughout the year. Cheshunt is one of the strongest teams in
the county which is a great achievement and shows the commitment and enthusiasm of both the swimmers, parents and coaching
staff.
Whilst we want swimmers to be the best they can we are committed to provide opportunities
for all swimmers. To this end we do run 2 teams in the many leagues we enter to ensure that as many swimmers as possible
compete in galas. We also run a range of club championships throughout the year which allows all competitive swimmers
in the club to compete.
Our coaching team under the direction of our Head Coach Pete Burnett are keen and enthusiastic,
providing quality training sessions. We are an ambitious club but also aknowledge that swimming also needs to provide
fun and enjoyment for its members. To this end we provide a wide range of social events for swimmers and parents.
Want to be the best you can? Then come and join us.
