Swimming Lessons
Cheshunt Swimming Club’s Learn to Swim programme produces a high standard of swimmers. Past pupils have progressed onto being national swimmers. Our Learn to Swim lessons have some of the lowest teacher-pupil ratios in the area and we aim to have 6 swimmers per lesson. With the shallow end lessons, we aim to have 5 swimmers per lesson as we find this encourages good development and greater concentration.
All of our lessons are run to the Swim England National Teaching Plan for swimming and all swimmers are insured through Swim England insurance.
We provide a comfortable, safe and friendly environment for all our swimmers to learn in, whilst we communicate to the children how enjoyable swimming can be and make sure they understand the safety aspects of being in the water.

Cheshunt Swimming Club started its own learn to swim programme back in the early 1990s. This was to develop our own swimmers from an early age to enable the club to build a broad young squad base with children from the Learn to Swim scheme. It has meant that the club has achieved great success in the Hertfordshire Peanuts league and Junior Diddy league.
Cheshunt Swimming Club pride itself in producing a high quality Learn to Swim programme which will suit a budding Olympic swimmer or just a need to ensure your child will be safe in the water.
